Javier Campos was born in Reus, Spain in 1962. He attended the School of Fine Arts of Barcelona where he excelled in drawing and painting.

Campos has a passion for painting landscapes of the extraordinary countryside of his native Spain. The steep perspective of his canvasses draws the viewer into his dream world. Brilliantly colored fields in bloom in the foreground are in sharp focus. Quickly we are brought into the distance to charming villages and still further off to the far off mountains. His works are at once mesmerizing and stunning because he seems to capture the feeling of being there, the atmosphere, the space, and the beauty.
